One Thousand Birds

My face is bloomed
from sleeping
roses
jeweled eyes still
dreaming,close
my fingers like
the snow upon the
mountains
and bare toes
rest calmly o'er dirt
my,my how fingers
sweep
o'er ivory keys
piano, and sings
a melody to keep
inside my hand
as sun does rise
-music with no words
beautiful as a
symphony of
one sky,one thousand
birds;
