Analysis of When It's Over

Even when it's over some stay in the stands
They just can't believe that "joy" was in their hands

Even when it's over some stay in the bonds
They just can't believe that "fire" was in their ponds

Even when it's over some stay in the soups
They just can't believe that "ruse" was in their dupes

Even when it's over some stay in the games
They just can't believe that "loss" was in their claims

Even when it's over some stay in the beds
They just can't believe that "sick" was in their heads

Even when it's over some stay in the homes
They just can't believe that "lice" was in their combs

Even when it's over some stay in the pains
They just can't believe that "luck" was in their gains

Even when it's over some stay in the faiths
They just can't believe that "life" was in their wraiths
