Analysis of Vengeance

black powder
rising from the mean-end
of a gun,
man falls
into eternity
with a look
of confusion,
had he not
said those words
of no return -
"I'm going to kill you!"
he would still be sucking wind
and I would be further down the road
to another place where thugs
think they cannot be deterred
or interred.
