our gazes meet,
blood fills my fingertips
longing to touch,
to feel the softness that encloses deep crystals
i inhale,
faint chills dance down my shoulders
sudden,
frozen in imitation before this trance
frozen,
the essence of you fills my lungs
surrounding,
warmth is radiating, melting
warmth,
i breathe out
exhale,
i am new, i can feel
