Analysis of Sun Shines

The sun shines,
I stare across into nowhere.

I see the tops of trees
and wonder why they are alone.

All the buildings spiral into the air:
phallic soldiers without uniform.
Is this a man's world?

What would it be like if women
had dominated from the beginning?
A lot different to what I see now.

Changes occur,
this century is different,
and the next? Who knows?

Here we are, naked and free,
we live by rules, a paradox.

This world needs changing
so our children's children
shall live in peace.

The sun shines,
I stare across into everywhere.
