Analysis of Scrapbook Memories
A tattered scrapbook of memories.
The pictures are
pasted at odd angles,
some are turned upsidedown.
Tilted like kites out of control.
A collection of muddled love.
I worked on this book for months
cutting and pasting.
Glittering images of our love
on flowered lacy paper.
When did everything change?
I thought I did everything right
but now all the pages are a mess.
I light the match and wait
for your reaction to the flame.
