TIME

I heard your voice the other night
Like soft pillow talk it fell.
From my anxious dreams
It quietly cascaded
Like a sorrowing embrace
Stirring a distant memory
Of the youth I remembered.
Time like an illusion
Sneaks quietly away
Never to come again
While the moon gently weeps.
