After You Left

After you left the ravens gathered
to pick through the bones
left from our relationship.
I saw them sitting on the fence
blackened heads bobbing,
their claws ready to rip
any remaining flesh
left on the skeleton
of our love.
I doubt that they will find
anything appetising there.
They are welcome to the
putrefied remains
of anything they find.
There is nothing left
that I want.
