Analysis of Ripped Wide Open
Angela Crabtree 1982 (maine)
Ripped Wide Open
Wounds that once were healed are now ripped wide open. Time has passed and thoughts were lost. You walked in and it all flooded back. Thoughts and feelings I'd never thought I'd have to face again. Heart racing as though it may explode from my chest. Trying to erase memories from lives past I lose myself control. Feelings that had been locked away for what was supposed to be an eternity have now resurfaced and begun flooding my brain. Drowning my soul in a way that was unhealthy. Stop. Open yourself up to the possibility of change. Try to forgive and forget all over again. Wounds that once were healed have now been ripped at the seams. Try and stop the bleeding emotions before you lose yourself again. Memories that were supposed to be locked away forever have now come to resurface. Stop. Take it as it comes and sew up the wounds once again. The bleeding can now stop and the true healing can now begin.
