Life

Angela Crabtree 1982 (maine)

Life

Life. What is life when you can't be happy?
Scared, lonely, tired
All this to just try and stay alive
Life, love, happiness
Things you are supposed to feel
Beauty, confidence, self-control
All things a part of life
Death, fear, loneliness
All things you should be afraid of
Life.... All things breathing
What causes you to stay alive so long, when all you feel is pain?
Giving yourself an image that is not your own
That is not living
Living should mean mistakes, friends, health and happiness
But when ones life is so far shot, what do you do?
Should you leave them to die, or try to help by keeping them miserable
Miserable because they are alive and want to die, because there life is nothing but pain and sorrow
Life... So many meanings that no one can pick just one
Trying to live a life of someone you are not
Pretending to be happy when you know deep down that is not the way you feel
So tell me, what is life to you when you can not be happy?
