Whispers

Angela Crabtree 1982 (maine)

Whispers

He whispers in my ear
But I do not hear him
He looks me in the eyes
But I do not see him

He touches me
But I cannot feel him
He takes my hand
But there is no touch

He reaches for me
But I am not there
He calls for me
But I do not answer

He goes to touch my heart
But there is no beat
He breathes on my neck
But there is no breath

He whispers in my ear
But I cannot hear him
He looks me in the eyes
But I cannot see him
