Analysis of Pity Me Not

Pity me not, because you see tears of pain dampen my face,
do not think me lost or forgotten, because I am searching for a place.
Do not show mercy to me because you feel it is your righteous duty,
trying to make ammends for guilty words spoken all too rudely.

Pity me not, for fear of your own blessings being blocked or casted away,
do not insult me with meaningless kindness, showered upon me day to day.
Suedo sweetness, keep it to yourself, indeed.
False judgements are also of no need,
Nor will I accept fake praises or forced laughter at my behest,
forged invitations to your home as if I am the honored guest,

No, save your pity, because it is not meant for me,
Save your savory pride my charges, it trully is not free.
Save your bounty of inspirational odes, religious cliches, and wise men quotes.
Pity me not, I ask, the only request which shall not be invoked.

For I am a queen, a queen who has battled wars, loved and lost.
One who has made the toughest sacrafices and paid the highest cost.
One who has embraced the demons of hell and rose  beyond its reach,
One who has made her queendom just, never can it be beseeched!

Not many can say they have traveled and survived the same path,
who can hold thier head up high releasing a bellowing laugh.
I have beat all odds, and every adversity that came.
Setting examples for all my people, bringing pride back to our name.

So let this stand now for all to witness, as my one and only royal decree,
Lest not a tear fall to soak the ground, thats filled with pity for me,
Let every head bow and every knee bend, today on this very spot,
For your Queen has spoken with love to you, feel peace and Pity me not.
