Haven

The past can be very cruel and mean,
 and sometimes everything in between.
I can't change the pain you've endeared
but I can offer you peace whenever I'm near.
Allow me to share your secrets, your thoughts and your dreams,
Take you to a loving place where broken love isn't as bad as it seems.
Hold my hand while I whisk you away,
let me grow with you in the most special way.
Let your hearts' guard down and give it a rest,
Allow me to show you true love at it's very best.
Not asking to marry or other types of relations,
just honesty and care with top consideration.
Let me get caught up with a warm embrace or two,
don't worry my sweet for it will be returned to you.
Stop the scepticisms and troublesome doubts,
let my heart speak to yours let the expressions come out.
Can we just fly around the world with each other at our sides,
explore the possibilities, eliminating selfish pride.
Believe me when I say, we can make this work.
I will never dishonor your love, for what is that worth?
I hear the language your hearts speaks,
 I know what it's saying.
My heart is your home, your security, and will always be
 your haven.
