Analysis of News Reports

News reports are full of gore, human hatred, rape and war.
Feature segments do explore
ghastly acts meant to abhor.
Vivid scenes become the lore generations should deplore.
Spin doctors cannot restore
purity thrown out the door.
There's no reason for denial in making a life worthwhile.
Seize firm judgment to revile
sordid accounts which defile.
Pick the channel, turn the dial for things that produce a smile.
Allow pleasant dreams fair trial
and good thoughts status in style.
News reports are aimed to hurt, overstate and spread the dirt.
Extractions quickly excerpt
passages meant to convert.
Announcements form an alert in ways somewhat inexpert.
Talking heads are quite overt
reading text they still pervert.
