New York 9.11.01 Within And Without

From within me to without you
Is a journey too hard to bear
The distance too far
The road too rough
The time too long

While without you within me
Is a journey too sad to feel
My wounds too raw
My soul too empty
My world too cold

From without you to within me
Is a journey too vague to know
The faith too little
The way too strange
The hope too lost
