Analysis of New Hampshire Blues

well i'm headed home like a hermit
cause the girls are different at the bars
the lost love that i've been yearning
has only been an illusion in my art

well i'm headed home on the highways
cause i'm escaping from the same mistakes
that's got me trapped inside this bubble
now my heart is left in disease and rubble

well i'm headed home from the hospital
cause i've had my heart torn into pieces
and over the years i've never overcame the obstacles
with women that made me bitter and stop believing

well i'm headed home from new hampshire
cause i just didn't find the answers
i think i'm on the long road to cancer
maybe i'll never find my soul mate, i don't really know, i'm just never sure
