Blown Away By A Tornado

its only seconds to the sadness
of this solitary life you've lived in all your life
your bed of nails is now on fire
the tornado is blowing a hole in your roof so hold on tight
been reading alot about the days of philosophy
but existentialism never ever served you right
since you got out of the hospital the first time, bobby
you went right back in a second time, it only serves you right

its only minutes to the madness
and i'm glad you've showed up in your full blown tragedy
you're head is in the dumpsters
and i've never wondered why you're filled with this much apathy
maybe it's your environment
or maybe that you're wrong, wild, and violent
take me for a fool but i'm not that stupid
if you're in the wrong relationship, just don't blame cupid

it only takes hours to act out your cowardly plan
but it takes a few years to make a coward into a man
you think this will be the easy way out
but somehow i see you'll be swimming with the trouts
it aint so easy being you, i know, i've been in the same shoes
and believe me it aint that easy knowing the full blown truth
i know you're lost in strange unfamiliar territory and trying to find a way home
now have i changed your mind at all or have you just given up all hope?
