Analysis of Life's Softer Side
Desperation's heavy chains
weigh down many hearts
Dreams die in vain
Hope is torn apart
Life shows its other face
The dark one...the impure
to the less fortunate race
who toils and endures
but her heart's still
unfamiliar with guile
Love and innocence fill
her sweet tiny smile
She's just about to bloom
A flower like no other
Tenderer than the moon
Clutching her dear mother
Her little fingers wrap
around her mom's palm
as she sleeps in her lap
protected from all harm
Once you look at her
You'll forget all your pain
She can utter no words
but smiles she can paint
Sleep my angel sleep
for you're the living evidence
of life's softer side
and the existence of happiness
