Analysis of I'll Try To Remember
Yesterday, dear God, I was angry at You,
I guess You could tell by my voice.
I was blaming You for what others do,
Although I know it's their choice.
But You said ask and seek and knock,
And I do it with a trusting heart.
I thought that You weren't listening to me
Because my world still felt shaken apart.
I even thought You didn't love me anymore
So You know how hurt I had been,
Because I know Your love is mine forever,
And Your presence is always within.
I'm always saying, Your will, not mine,
Not thinking of the hills I must climb,
I'll try to remember and not be angry,
Because it's Your world, Your will, and
Your time.
