Crying Bed

After 11 children and 39 years
I found I was no longer wed,
So I brought all my heartache, sorrow and tears,
Here to my crying bed.
To all the world I showed my smile,
I'll be allright I said
But at night, alone, I shed my tears,
Here in my crying bed.
I always accepted my sorrow and pain,
But kept it inside my head,
Knowing at night it would be released,
Here in my crying bed.
I imagine someday they will find me
Asleep, although I'll be dead,
But at least my heart won't be aching,
Here in my crying bed.
