Analysis of I don't have a knife to your back
I do not have a knife at your back
but you assume so because of my nasty words
Inside I collapse
when I have no hand to pull me to where I deserve
You are now my safety net
but you do not know that you burden this
you turn your back
and seem to forget that I cannot reach the surface
I am not who you think I am
but I have told you of my haunted past
memories of a man
that I could not escape and can't look past
I want you to see into me
to resurrect those feelings you used to have
understanding, believing
that I am who I am and I'm not that bad
