Analysis of Grandpa
Grandpa It has been a long time since we hugged,
and many years since your cheek I did kiss,
but many times I think of you
and it's your presence that I miss.
Of all the mentors that came through my life
it was your love that has surpassed.
Many have thought and tried to,
but only your love has seemed to last.
For now Grandpa the tears swell in my eyes
from the sorrow dwelling in my heart,
of the thought of you that seem long gone
of this life you steered and played a part.
I miss you Grandpa and the love you gave
I will cherish it every day,
and with each tick of time I shall not forget
you and all your loving ways.
