Analysis of Games Of Sport
Some games involve physical contact
Football has force that none can retract
This is a way to legitimize "war"
"Destroy the enemy" is simply hard-core
Some games are gentle, played with a board
From checkers to chess, no harm will afford
The brain is accessed, forsaking the brawn
Outwit and maneuver, wipeout until gone
Some games are neither gentle nor tough
Rackets hit balls, a play that's not rough
Then you must coordinate hand with the eye
Finesse and placement your intentions belie
All games we play can parallel life
Achieving success, dealing with strife
Winning or losing with knowledge and skill
Utilizing brute force or a determined will
