Analysis of Discrimination
Thorns of bigotry, doubt,
insecurity and fear tangled
in the tight grip of circumstance.
Railroaded down unforgiving tracks.
Sharp shadows numb and deafen,
never to allow the light.
All pawns of some larger plan
only hindsight can exhume.
Some of us the darkness drowns.
While others empowered by pain,
find breath,
to dream of better things.
