Analysis of Danny's Home
The sun had already kissed the sky Saturday when the news came in by phone
A trembling voice on the line struggling with the words our sweet Danny has gone home
I felt my soul flood with pain and spilled over with my heartaches tears
The cold dark loneliness crowded in pushing right in next to my own fear
And then I hear a familiar whisper of my sweet Jesus calming voice
Hush my precious child listen close there is no more painful noise
If you could of seen his face when he looked right up at me
The joy that filled him shining through his amazing smile that now he’s finally free
We’re walking hand in hand on my streets that are sparking because their made of gold
I’m answering all of his questions that at one time he did not know
He’s here with me and I’m with you I’ve never once ever left your side
I know you are hurting it will be okay and I know you’re asking why
But please know I needed him so much and his victory has now just begun
He did not lose a single battle he is with your Father’s precious Son
So take your deepest breath and take me into the deeper side of you
Surrendering all you will feel my arms of love and this I will see you through
He’s not that far as it may feel a part of him your heart will always keep
But I needed him more here with me there’s much to do and one day you will see
