Hear My Whispers Of Love

Can you hear me when I whisper your name in the darkness of my heartache and I wonder where you are,

Eyes filling with tears I’m drowning with my grief just to hear your voice and to know you haven’t really drifted so far

I miss your smile and the curve of your mouth and the sweet brown eyes that we both undeniably share

I want to hug you and hold you close pushing away the emptiness that has taken you from the people who still care

I pray each night that God will find you and touch the heart of the boy that I think about every minute of everyday

I wish I could tell you face to face I still believe in you and if you will come home I will help you to find your way

Listen my son with the deepest part of your heart for I know you are not completely lost from who you really are

The path will be hard with it’s up and downs but your stronger than you know, one step at a time is truly a new start

God take my words I whisper to you and make them ring loud in my child’s heart, mind, body and soul

His is missed and so very loved no matter what has happened my love for him is deeper than my son will ever possible know

I love you,

Maylinda Jane McRae

I haved live in Georgia all my life. I have four beautiful children and five grandchildren,an amazing man in my life named Scott. God has also blessed me with many loving family members and friends. God has blessed me in so many ways and I want to share with others how amazing he is and the grace that he wants to bestow on others. I have been writing since I was a little girl, it has always helped me to express myself whether it was during a storm or a victory in my life. My prayer is that my poems will help someone who may be going through a storm or celebrate a vicotry in life. more…
