Analysis of Cobblestone and Tequila

There are maybe forty or fifty flies
all hovering close to the ground
some crawling through the tiny dead leaves
I keep my feet up on the bench
even though it is very uncomfortable
accross the cobblestone street
I can hear a blender crushing ice
probably running off a generator
as I see no wires anywhere
and I can smell the combination
of tequila, leaves and smoke
it makes me glad I don't live here
even though I come to visit
so very often
