Analysis of catalina catalina

(..........the passage of words descend on your prayer’s feet
pressed sacred on your quivering lips

you lay on your bed as you've laid for many days
with your devotion shackled to your shoulders

clenched with twisted fist prophecies
your hands clasp vigilance’s pleading

your head radiates the soft forms
from the dim cascade

- you choke to the next bead of your rosary

then you touch me with ephermeral’s hands
and i suddenly see the hardship of your opacity).....

come to her atmosphere

quickly before the cotton and dust
clutch the talons of your indicative dove
and the porous light reveals
whatever distant shadows comply

(the pressure of your weightless touch
whisks the vitreous sweeps of your silver hair
so divine they collect and dissipate)

relevance is ceding
as the fabric of your veins relinquish

your complexion wans like the firmament
of a leucous moth lithe to the candle flame
while lightness wears the weight
of his footsteps on your radiant ceiling

your skin shell is vapid
as your skin separates
like thin sheets of parchment
they relax and fold)

come catalina
hold your aegis rose’s bead
i know your wafer form is weak
but can’t you hold the days
or does the cipher pour
while your vessel faints

i’m still the one your arm embraced
your armature of ascendance torn
the garment of your secure piety
the boy who ran to you
before all the untouched eyes
rushed in morn

take me while your love crawls
take me while your knees sleep
take me to your imminent paralysis
while your words arrest
while your eyes blur

quickly magdelena …

it is the poverty of the night
rich with the night’s ceiling
and the heavens adorn in their pendant jewelry
shimmer for you as you have made your
life a brilliant devotion

i stare at you with a faceless gaze
and here you with infinite song
my touch begins to dislocate
and our time begins in apparition
the space by which we consumed
has lost her breath

come catalina … magdelena is here

i once read a poem by neruda, and it touched me to a point that propoelled my interest. and then i read althuzer by vicente huidobro whereby a man parachuted from the sky and the world unfolded into his poetic epic and it took me to a different place different from my ignorant geography of poetry. but then jorge luis borges blew my mind and made poetry not only about truth but utter sublime fiction amidst an exploded horizon- boundless literature off a free falling cliff and the only thing to do was grow wings in midair and take the ride. more…
