Analysis of A Song Of Long Ago

It keeps haunting me at night
a song of long ago
I start to lose my self-control
I become a disaster into the unknown,

Lost in the night puzzle by sight
of the stars shining bright
I move a little faster to the understanding
of my true fears,

When I come down the hill I've walked
I can't replace the feeling of the day
Of falling to my knees asking God to forgive me
I'm sweating' to become my own fiend within
I need to be set free from all my agony,

As I lost my self-control
my self-defeating of what was of long ago
It's left me all alone
And now I know my reason for living
I know that in the end the deep solace of
My own song will play on.
