Analysis of The Light that You Are
Jade Monty O'Neill 1969 (Pretoria)
To be with you in some still place
To be touched by your subtle grace
To have your thoughts soul and mind
With me till the end of time, is what I want now.
To feel you sway beneath my hands
To run with you on snow-white sands
To break into your line of thought
To have your love and not need it bought, is what I need now.
To be with you in lonely times
To face life's horrors and filthy crimes
To make me something you hold dear
To hold you close and wash away your fear, is what I wish now.
If all these things could come to be
And forge the love between you and me
If all the stars could at once unite
To form one great beam of light
It could not drown out the energy
That is the love between you and me
