An emailed love

Jade Monty O'Neill 1969 (Pretoria)

While reading the words
feeling warm but frustrated
Their hearts with the birds
but their love truncated

Staring with a smile
but nearly in tears
The foolish beguile
to wish she was near

But then that great warmth
the comfort of their love
and the knowing in their hearts
that even this challenge, their love could rise above.
