Analysis of A New Day & A New Dawn

As winter fades and springtime comes, It's a new day and a new dawn. Gone are the rhetorics and evil webs. Spun from words of yesteryear.

Gone are the cries of the unheard
through storms flooded in tears.
Breath a sigh of relief for the chaos is done, and now it's time for your war to be won.

What was once done in darkness has come to the light. A window of opportunity about to take flight. It's a new day and a new dawn!

They see your struggles and they see your pain. Their skies were sunny while you battled the rain. While evil still lingers, as the smoke must clear. Hope is the message, breath the new air.

Say goodbye to what felt like a dream, bask in a sun with an eternal beam.
Reclaim your time, you are no longer a pawn. For it's a new day and a new DAWN!!

Josh Hedrington

Sometimes the best way to turn a chapter in your life is to write and release. That's what I do in many of my works to help me move on. I turn an experience into inspiration to write. Other times, I may be inspired just by listening to the stories or experiences of others. There's a reason God gave us two ears and one mouth. Listen more and talk less!! For example my beloved poem, "A New Day and A New Dawn", was inspired after one of many brilliant conversation with my dear friend Cheryl Sullivan. I listened, and received the message and that poem was born. So I dedicate the poem to her, aka The Oracle! I hope all my writings can be a form of inspiration and support for others on this journey called life! more…
