Analysis of Stillness of A Candle
Melita Catalina Warren 1949 (Kansas)
A candle bright on a snowy night
Inspires hope in it's might.
On mantel above fireside,
It sets all strife, conflict, aside.
A candle bright on a snowy night
Convinces one everything's alright.
Around a candle we draw near,
For it's ambience assuages fear.
Grant us faith for yet another year
Following Our Savior so dear.
A candle glows on a snowy night.
As spirits rise higher than a kite.
A subtle glow, serene sight,
A candle bright on a snowy night,
Calms us until in peace we abide,
Along the Kansas prairie wide.
