Pilgrim Way

Melita Catalina Warren 1949 (Kansas)

Life’s paths become a pilgrim way.
Believe today is that brighter day!

We cast off darkness and decay.
Absorb rain’s spray, sun’s ray.

Ramparts protect against foray.
The enemy’s snares we allay.

Safe and secure out of the fray,
The evil old person we slay.

In earnest bow your head and pray.
Home at last! No longer astray!
