Analysis of To My Person
To my person.
We met later than most do.
I never thought the time might come.
For me to meet you, my person.
We have laughed until we cried.
Sobbed until we felt as if we were dying.
But you never seem to mind when I'm falling apart in front of you.
You call me out of the blue sometimes.
It brings joy to my soul.
Your beautiful eyes smile when we call.
I don't have to see it.
I just know.
You are my best friend.
My heart.
My sister.
But most of all as I said, you are my person.
So continue with your life.
Know I am always here for you.
You're beautiful and I love you.
To my person.

About this poem
This poem is about my best friend. My person if you will. Though we may live far apart now, she is always in my heart. A piece of my soul is always with her.
