Analysis of Blue house across the street.
CeCe r 1988 (Carbondale Illinois)
Across the street
There is a little blue house
And although it's filled with a family
It's quiet as a mouse
Once playing outside, I saw three kids
it could have been 4
But I haven't seen them since
They went in doors
They were wearing outdated clothes
And had their hair in a wrap
Not like a hijab or a bonnet
More of a.. sack
Inside a light hasn't shined
I have never even heard a peep
Its odd, sure
But to conclusions I don't want to leap
They could be private, off the grid, or just new to the area.
OR they could be vampires, a cult or something even scarier
One night while walking by I looked in to see what I could see
My heart stopped when I saw someone staring back at me
