Analysis of Opening The World's Hearts
Robert Catron 1963 (Kansas)
There is a very great need in the world today,
We must all wake up and give of ourselves in every way.
There is always someone that each of us know,
That needs our help in someway, shape, or form-so let it show.
Yes, we are all facing our own tough times in this world today,
But there is always someone with less that we can help show the way.
We may not be able to give much-but anything at all will do.
If we all even gave just something small from our hearts to help them thru.
For all of us at sometime in our lives can remember when we were in need,
And God came thru with the help for us for He heard our very hearts plea.
So let's all remember what God has shared with all of us,
And let's open our hearts to the needy-let's all get on this bus!
We as a people must realize that there is only one race, color, and creed,
This is a world of God's people and many of us are very much in need!
You see them in every town, in every city, and in every state,
People everywhere that go to sleep with no food on their plate.
So I say it's time that we all make a stand change this forever,
You don't have to be a millionaire, have lots to give, or even be clever.
All you have to do is open your eyes, and your heart, and your mind,
Look around you wherever you go-and I'll bet someone in need you'll find!
