Analysis of Bleeding
Today I looked you in the eye.
I watched as you walked away,
Each second hurting more than the last.
I used to stare into your eyes,
I felt safe, and saw their beauty,
But now all I see is my own depressing reflection.
Today I looked you in the eye.
A total of three times,
Three knifes in my chest,
Three scratches on my brain.
I’m bleeding for you,
So I at least need to know that
You’re okay.
I almost loved myself when I loved you.
