Analysis of Old Eyes

As we journey through this life of ours,
We find ourselves amidst changing hours.
And though we may start with young, keen eyes,
We'll soon come to learn that time flies.

For with each moment that passes by,
We grow, we learn, we laugh, we cry.
Our mistakes and choices pave the way,
For a path that'll lead to a brighter day.

The pain of discipline, it's not an easy feat,
But better than the pain of regret we'll meet.
For when we withstand the discomfort of change,
We evolve and grow, the results are strange.

Old eyes may see things clearer than before,
With wisdom, experience, and so much more.
We realize that life is a journey, not a race,
And that growing is a process we must embrace.

So let us take on the challenges that come,
For they're only lessons in a never-ending sum.
Of growth, of learning, of becoming our best,
For life is a journey that puts us to the test.

And though young eyes may see great distances indeed,
Old eyes see things much clearer in the end, we heed.
The choice between discipline and regret,
Is ours to make, every single day that we beget.
