Analysis of Nocturnal Horizons

Read into what is not there
Misdiagnose your fear in me
Teach me what is right
Make me fear what is real

Your desire is my self independence
Your history reincarnated in my future
Lead me to the darkness
So you can be the light

Instigate our bitter rivalry
So you can be the hero
So you can be the peacemaker
So you can wonder why I have hatred for you

Child to increasing delusions
Mother to increasing rebellion
Sit back and watch my transformation
Only to correct the steps I make
So you look better and not so fake

I look to the horizon every night
It changes every time I blink
I begin to question my sight
I feel my soul begin to sink
I cannot do this alone
I cannot find my soul a home
