The Scars of Darkness

The Daylight listens to the echo of my nightmares
My fear stays on the other side so no one can see
Only so I can get pushed in the corner
So others can see a new side of me
I reach down to only uncover more of the scars of darkness
Constantly falling to the left of control
I feel so faithless
Do you dream like me?
Do I exist to justify your sadness?
Am I hear as proof of your guilt and exaggerated kindness?
I am lost without you
My mind is damaged by you
Return me to my innocence
