Analysis of HONESTLY, YES HONESTLY!

I’m drowning, unable to tread reality.
This is not just petty talk or straight out wallowing.
So please lend me your ear but don’t ever pity me.
I find myself in my deepest darkest haunted place and suffering in agony
I’ve grown to love this dark, lonely and deserted place.
I know it so well, it’s simply just a part of me.
I push and pull myself together, I’m fighting myself again.
But this stranger seems to be winning and getting the best of me.
I should know better but these emotions keep overriding my systems integrity.
Another woman has hacked my whole entire hardware’s security.
My firewall has fizzled out, she’s now gained access to my secured heart’s currency.
Sleeping, waking, walking, sitting, eating or drinking this woman is on my mind again.
How could I be so careless and leave myself open to a situation that would cause my wife and I pain.
How could I let another woman mess with my heart and my brain.
Well that is the issue, love never knocks at your hearts doors.
It enters as if it owns it and shouts out “hey buddy when it rains it pours”.
I guess that’s why I’m here now with my pen in my hand writing down all these metaphors.
