Analysis of WAS SHE EVER HERE?
Was she ever here?
My mind struggles a lot
Bonnie was here and then not
She was so close once
We used to dance
Now she is gone
And we are forever forlorn
My mind conjures up a trick
Every now and then a despairing hit
Anguish spills over
Hither and thither
We are lost for ever
How and why
Questions bombard my mind
My mind struggles a lot
We have plenty lost
In this realm of tragedy
My mind struggles a lot
My soul burns super hot
I get no peace
It’s a tremendous travesty
My mind struggles in a trajectory
And it has no ease
Grief is the price we pay for love
My love knew no bounds for her
Yet it feels was she ever here?
My mind struggles a lot
We have lost her for ever
