A Walk in the Park

A Walk in the Park

Silence in the park , so peaceful , so serene,
swiftly blowing  across , the breeze
caressing the trees , branches and leaves
is the only whizzing sound you can hear
then,
almost like sound waves of the distant ocean,
spiced with bursts of bird tweets and sirens.

Trees are lining up as if in a parade,
their majestic trunks reaching up to the sky,
their slender branches the other way dive,
adorning an array of flowers
with enchanting fragrance and glorious colours.
Silence in the park so peaceful , so heavenly
the trees and flowers so much in harmony.
A haven of tranquility
in the bustling city.
Silence in the park, so peaceful,
so  serene.
