I HAVE THESE RECURRING DREAMS

It’s that impalpable sort of a place
Like a mirage
A dream is that kind of a facade
Strange imperceptible visions
Eerily untouchable illusions

Amidst that one ‘sees’ real people
Even those who had departed
As if they too are living like you and me
What a cruel trick of the mysterious mind
That one has to experience delusions of this kind

A dream is a sort of a
Mirage like assertion
You can’t grasp it however hard you try
As It’s a phantasm

How is it I keep having dreams of Bonnie
Even after she was taken from us so cruelly
In my dreams she comes as a scene from real life
From the mundane to the obscure
From when she was a child to now
For sure

What is this cruel trick of the mind
That I agonise when I alight from the Dream to unwind
Only to face the sad truth that
My Dream Bonnie was not real
She had passed on to that
illusory kingdom of mirage
What a stupendously unnerving facade!
It’s not a dream, it’s more like a nightmare

I had this dream again last night
Another mirage is tauntingly in sight
