Analysis of FOR SOME IT IS HARD TO TALK ABOUTH DEATH
mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)
Here I sit with memories not nightmares of my own death
once in a while I remember the times that they thought it would be the last of my breath
some would say I was lucky that the EMTs got there fast
I say I have a higher calling and it just was not my time
As I sit here underneath the Xmas tree I ask myself who exactly was the person calling back to me
For some, it is hard to talk about death because they do not know how to explain the unknown
being that I have been there I have nothing to fear except the question I ask myself if the next time will be for real
then I just laugh to myself and say they were the two best naps that I ever had
