Analysis of The Kingdom Comes Quickly
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
The strikes will come and blood will flow
You better not ever doubt it
His beck and call go out at six
And all His saints will shout it
The wicked get thrown down the cliff
And all darkness is retired
When the Lord our God comes back to stay
The evil ones will be fired
When the night is done there’s only Light
And that light is the Son
In the city you won’t need a lamp
Because God’s reign has come
Emmanuel returns at last
And surely, He was first
And all His children will be glad
And God won’t let them thirst
