Analysis of Turn to the Lord
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
Oh, how my anger stumbles me
When someone hurts my feelings
I pray that you’ll forgive me Lord
In all my earthly dealings
If righteous men turn from His ways
They will not be forgiven
But if they turn right back to Him
They’ll surely go on living
And if you say: I have not sinned
You’re making Him a liar
But if you ask: Forgive me Lord
You will avoid the fire
