Analysis of Heartbroken
Heartbroken
By: Cheyenne Blodgett
What did it matter?
My heart pounded when i reached the lobby
Leaving me standing there.
Flying way over the water at night
I waited for them to come.
His eyes seemed sad
Buckle up.
I have heard it before
He put on his headphones.
Sweat trickled down my face
Here we go.
I grasped my seat
It felt as if i were a dog on a leash!
Later my stomach grumbled
Not again.
I look ahead
The flight go tougher and tougher
Constantly lurching in the darkness.
I try not to think about the dark water beneath me
Nothing but a dark salty water.
