Analysis of I’m Free

Makaylla Liggett 1994 (Sandpoint, ID)

Letting go of your demons
Letting go of the pain
Even with the ongoing seasons
You’re never gonna change

You’ll never be a human
You’re the true devil in disguise
Even with all the reasons
Yet you still deny

The person you truly are
Is a monster that always lies
Keep it buried in the dark
Until it’s brought to the public eye

Why would you think
Everything is gonna be the same as before
For you this might sting
I want nothing to do with you anymore

Try as you might
Try as you will
But I have won this fight
You no longer give me chills

God has came to me
And said I’m finally free
Wanna know what you mean to me?
You mean nothing
